Risbygate Street - Bury St Edmunds - UK Your ultimate shopping and dining experience in one of Bury’s most historic streets... |

|
Risbygate Street, one of Bury St Edmunds’s oldest and most historic streets, has been rejuvenated in recent years, and should now be considered a ‘must visit’ part of any shopping spree in Bury St Edmunds. The street layout has not changed over the years, and the photo opposite taken in about 1910 is very similar to the view you can still see today as you enter the street from St Andrews Street North or South. The shopping however, has changed dramatically since then, with a large variety of products and services being offered by over 30 independent traders, some of whom have been trading in the street for over 80 years! In 2010, many of the businesses formed The Risbygate Street Traders Association, whose members appear in more detail on this site. Just a small selection of the products and services on offer in Risbygate Street include the following:- |
